Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu made important evaluations on the agenda at the weekly regular press conference. At the meeting held at the headquarters of his party, Karamollaoğlu started his speech by celebrating the August 30 Victory Day. Pointing out that there are important lessons to be learned from Manzikert and Dumlupınar, Karamollaoğlu said, “The first is independence; Our nation, no matter what the circumstances, did not bow to captivity and imposition, and never, ever made concessions on its independence. No one should doubt that; This beloved nation will never hesitate to show the same determination when our independence and future are in danger. The second is unity and togetherness; The greatest strength of our nation is unity and solidarity. It has overcome all kinds of difficulties and troubles it has faced until today with the spirit of brotherhood. Not as long as we maintain our unity and solidarity, even if great powers and greater powers came together, they could not and cannot break even a single pebble from us.”

“WE ARE FACED WITH A POWER THAT CANNOT FORESEE THE THREE DAYS LATER”

Emphasizing that Anatolia was made a homeland with justice, not with a sword, “Great victories require great horizons. The real victory is not won by the sword, but by faith, knowledge and strategy. When we look at the great leaders who changed and transformed history, we see some unchanging fundamental characteristics: For example, they are forward-thinking; They act according to what the age brings, not the day. So what is the situation in Turkey today? We are faced with a government that cannot see the future, let alone the age, even three days later. We are faced with a management that cannot calculate even 5 days, let alone 50 years from now. A Turkey stuck in a swamp in Syria is the result of this lack of foresight! Being friends with Israel, whom you called ‘child murderer’ yesterday, is the result of this lack of foresight! From foreign policy to economy, Turkey's drift is the result of these short-sightedness, unfortunately,” Karamollaoğlu added.

“LIKE THE COUNTRY HAS TURNED INTO THE VALLEY OF WOLVES”

Karamollaoğlu saying: “Great leaders give importance to consultation and benefit from experience” and continued his speech as follows: “What kind of management approach is dominant in Turkey today? Absolute one-man rule... A country governed by the logic of 'I did it, it happened'... A Turkey where imposition replaces consultation, decrees replace laws, and partisanship replaces competence and merit. Here we see it all together, tricks that the consultants do are revealed in detail. Bribery negotiations, corruption, a terrible degradation from top to bottom... The country has almost turned into the Valley of the Wolves. The famous Dallas series remains almost innocent in the face of what Turkey is going through today. I really wonder; What is Mr. Erdogan consulting with these consultants? What knowledge and experience of them does he benefit? And most importantly, what step will he take in the face of all these allegations? Will he claim that it is my advisor; Or will he say, 'What adviser, even if it is my daughter Fatima, I will do what is necessary according to the rules?’”

“IF YOU REMOVE JUSTICE, THE STATE COMES DOWN”

Continuing the characteristics of great leaders, “Great leaders act with justice. They do not oppress anyone unjustly, nor do they allow them to be oppressed. So what is the view we see when we take a look at our country today? Confidence in justice has hit rock bottom. The power of law is gone, replaced by the law of power. Those who tweeted were instantly imprisoned because the government didn't like it; For months, years, not a single step has been taken regarding the horrific networks of bribery that have been revealed. We have always said it, we say it again; 'Justice is the basis of property'. If you remove justice, the state will collapse. Unfortunately, today the Justice and Development Party (AKP) is destroying the foundation of the state in order to protect its own power. Great leaders avoid waste and pomp. I've said it before, I'll say it again; The Ottoman was built in a tent, but it was destroyed in the palace! When modesty is replaced by arrogance, simplicity is replaced by ostentatiousness; it means alarm bells are ringing in that country. As a matter of fact, the biggest problem of Turkey today; extravagance, pomp and ostentation. If you say, ‘There will be no savings, from reputation’ you will destroy Turkey's reputation for your own reputation; Unfortunately, as it is today,” Karamollaoğlu added.

“THEY CAME SAYING 3Y, THEY ARE GOING WITH 3Y”

Addressing the citizens who have voted for the ruling party in good faith, Karamollaoğlu said, “The AKP, which came to power with your support, received your votes in 2002 with the promise that they would eliminate the 3Y (yolsuzluk-yoksulluk-yasaklar). They would eradicate corruption, poverty, and prohibition. However, today we are faced with a much more dire picture than before 2002 in every field: 20 years later, Turkey is stuck in the mud of bribery. Blackmail, threats, bribery and corruption have spread everywhere like a spider web. Those who claim to have written the book of economics seem to have written the 'book of decay'! At the end of 20 years, we are faced with a 'collective immorality'! Once again, it has come to light that; Political movements that lose their purpose are turning into networks of interest.”

“UNLESS THE POWER HAS CHANGED, THE RESULT WILL NOT CHANGE”

Pointing out that the country is at a crossroads of history, Karamollaoğlu continued as follows: “Unfortunately, those who are entrenched in the ruling circle do not only own the property of orphans, the rights of the waifs and strays, the labor of the nation; They are stealing Turkey's future too! I say frankly; Unless this power and this understanding change, the result will not change! And it is very clear that; This government does not intend to change itself. In that case, you will change the government with your votes. You can't get different results by repeating the same things! Now we have an opportunity before us. Turkey has now entered the election atmosphere. In this election; There will come an administration that acts not with the concern of the party, but the concern of the country. There will come an administration that thinks about Turkey's reputation, not the party's power. There will come a government that puts the needs of the nation in the center, not the interests of individuals. One of the most powerful actors of this new power will be the Saadet Party. Because Saadet Party is the guarantee of a Turkey free of corruption, injustice and bribery.”

"WE ARE READY FOR POWER, NOT ONLY FOR ELECTIONS”

Karamollaoğlu, who underlined that they felt the trust and increasing support of the citizens in the Saadet Party everywhere, said, “It is very clearly seen on the field; Our Saadet Party is the address of hope and trust for our citizens who are fed up with the mistakes of the AKP government. At this point, I would like to express that we are very pleased that a picnic organization we held in Istanbul on Sunday turned into a rally. I would like to thank our Istanbul Provincial Presidency for organizing this program, which we held in a festive mood with the participation of thousands of people, and our members of the organization and citizens who participated in the program with great enthusiasm. We are working 24/7 in order not to let our nation's trust in us fail and to increase hope day by day, and we will continue to work with the same determination. I express by emphasizing; with our policies that our country needs and with our cadres, we are ready not only for the elections, but also for the power as of today.”

“I FELT ASHAMED”

Continuing his speech by reminding President Erdoğan’s words, ‘They also shamelessly say that there is unemployment. What unemployment? As long as citizen wants a job. There are a lot of work. But what does it say; There is no job as I want it!’, Karamollaoğlu by saying, “Yes, unfortunately, as the President of a government that has governed the country alone for 20 years, Mr. Erdogan... In the same speech, they also asked our citizens for ‘a little patience and more support’. It's really unbelievable. Is it more difficult to be patient with unemployment, or is it more difficult to be patient with your brutal power? Do you want more support for the continuation of this understanding that scolds our people who say ‘I am unemployed’?” he asked.

“WHAT WOULD HE DO IF HE WAS A NEWLY GRADUATED?”

Making empathy call to President Erdoğan, Karamollaoğlu said, “Now, I want to ask to Mr. Erdogan; If he were a young man who graduated from high school at the age of 18 and moreover, at the age of 25, he had just graduated from university, this young man named Recep Tayyip; Where and how could he find a job? What job would he like to work in? How much salary would he be willing to get? Today, at every opportunity he says, 'I am an economist', would this young economist want to work as a motorcycle courier or cashier? Wouldn't he want to go abroad if he had the opportunity in this system, which 'makes everything done in return for nothing'? How would he feel if he is blocked by nepotism even though he had a degree in the exam he took? And if he had heard the president of a political party that came to power when he started primary school and ruled the country alone for 20 years, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is also the president of the country, saying, ‘There is no unemployment, the people do not like jobs’; How would he feel as a 20-25-year-old youth, what would he want to say? They call it empathy. I'm sure he would have wanted to say a lot, but for fear of being arrested, he wouldn't be able to say it either, he would hold it inside.”

“WE PROMISE AS THE SAADET PARTY”

Explaining what they promised as the Saadet Party when they came to power, “As the Saadet Party; We do not want university graduates to be unemployed and not to be referred to as 'home youth'. We say that young Tayyips should be able to express themselves freely without fear of being arrested. We want millions of our young people not to be beaten while someone is receiving 4-5 salaries at once. We say that our people should not be fallen even below the hunger limit, but should lead a 'humane life'. And we promise, when we come to power; We will put an end to the concrete and waste-oriented investment approach and implement economic policies based on production and employment. We will rely on competence and merit, not partisanship and political loyalty. We will not be unfair, we will never let even a single citizen's rights be defeated. We will quickly improve both the working conditions and wages of our employees. Even at the minimum wage, over time, we will catch up the poverty line. And we will put an end to this political language and understanding that looks down on the citizens, despises and scolds them!” Karamollaoğlu added.

“WHAT YOU SAY AMNESTY SHOULD BE COMPREHENSIVE AND FAIR”

Regarding the amnesty allegations that have come to the fore recently, Karamollaoğlu said: “If these amnesty arrangements are to forgive the injustices committed by circles close to the government, it is not possible for us to consent to it. What you call forgiveness should be comprehensive, it should be fair. In particular, repeated crimes should be taken into account. The place for this, of course, is the Parliament. It is the most correct. An amnesty prepared with the logic that only I will forgive my supporters will not benefit Turkey. It will not save the country from the turmoil which it is dragged into today. It is true, it should definitely be addressed in the Parliament.”
