The government, which has left its agricultural policies almost fallow since the day it came to power, took action after the oil tails in Turkey.
The AKP government, which has been at work for twenty years, has made all investments in roads, bridges, tunnels, stadiums and skyscrapers, while investing in agriculture is secondary.
However, in the current process, a food crisis broke out in Turkey, which was once the "self-sufficient country in agriculture".
Long queues for food, especially sunflower oil and bread, occurred all over Turkey.
The government, which did not look at the face of agriculture for years, took action when it saw the queues.
Especially after the oil crisis, the government's taking this step caused comments that "they understood after 20 years".
75 PERCENT SUPPORT TO AGRICULTURE!
Seeing the queues in food, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the decision published in the Official Gazette, ruled that 75% support should be given to the effective use of agricultural lands.
Grants will be given to those who bring the lands left empty, idle or fallow to production, and those who produce cereals, pulses and oilseeds by taking into account climate change.
Those who produce and cultivate their fields will be supported by the public.
