The second round of six table meetings will start on October 2, hosted by the Republican People’s Party (CHP). In the meetings, which included CHP, Good (IYI) Party, Saadet Party, Democrat Party, Future Party and Democracy and Progress (Deva) Party, party leaders came together every month under the hosting of a party. At the meeting hosted by the Saadet Party, the schedule for the second round was also clarified. It is stated that the second round will be handled in three periods. In the first period of the six-table talks, ‘transition process’, in the second period ‘candidate issue’ and in the third period ‘alliances’ are planned to be discussed. While the transition process is expected to be completed in the meetings hosted by the CHP, Deva Party, it is stated that the candidate issue will be completed in the meetings hosted by the Democratic Party, Future Party and Good Party. It is said that the candidate announcement may be in January or February. In the meetings to be hosted by the Saadet Party, ‘alliances’ will be on the agenda of the leaders.
THE TARGET IS TO PROVIDE MAJORITY IN THE ASSEMBLY
The parties will present their work to the table during the transition negotiations. Six leaders are expected to sign an agreement on the transition period on this issue. It is emphasized that the leaders will make many evaluations within the party, especially the researches during the nomination stage. It is stated that the alliance strategy will be discussed after the nomination phase. In the Alliance title, the six-table aims to determine the best method to secure a majority in the Assembly.
