The six opposition parties will share the Strengthened Parliamentary System constitutional amendment proposal with the public today.

The Six Opposing Parties will announce to the public their proposal for the Strengthened Parliamentary System constitutional amendment today at Ankara Bilkent Hotel. It is expected that the amendments will be announced in approximately 100 articles in the prepared constitution proposal. The draft proposal will be read one by one by the lawyers of the Six Opposing Parties. After the Constitution program, the leaders will go to the Democratic Party and will discuss the transition process, especially the issues on the agenda. 
 

EMPHASIS OF "NOW IS THE TIME FOR DEMOCRACY" 

 
Representatives of Six Opposing Parties, where Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Good (IYI) Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, Democracy and Progress (DEVA) Party Chairman Ali Babacan, Future (Gelecek) Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu and Democrat Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal came together, attended the meeting. They gave the message “Now is the Time for Democracy” with the video they shared on the subject. 
 

THE DECISION WAS TAKEN ON NOVEMBER 14 

 
The last meeting of the six opposing political party leaders was held on November 14 and in the statement made; “The Constitutional and Legal Reforms Commission has completed the codification of the constitutional amendments to be made in line with the Strengthened Parliamentary System Consensus Text. As Six Opposing Parties, we decided to share this work with the public on November 28,” the statement said.
