Although the ESK provides "temporary" relief on the red meat import market, the uncertainty in red meat is still in the middle. Turkey, while resolving the problems in the livestock sector permanently, is turning to temporary solutions. Turkey imports from many countries, from Uruguay to Hungary, from Ukraine to Serbia, due to the importation of meat, which is the main of them. The way of solution goes from the producer to the Anatolia.

UNBONED MEAT IMPORTS SAVED

Prof. Dr. Bülent Nazlı, "I find it inconvenient to import lop meat. It will be very difficult to determine if the future meat is contaminated with pork or diseased animal meat."

Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim University Head of Food Engineering Department Dr. Bülent Nazlı stated that the meat produced in the 2nd and 3rd class in Europe will be imported and that "If we try to buy first class quality meat produced in Europe, meat prices will be high again. Meat was imported from the Balkans before. We know the incoming product, poor quality and below our country standards. Citizens should not only eat cheap meat, good quality and cheap meat," he said.

After the importation of red meat from the Meat and Milk Association, ministry decision and sale of imported meat were given to 2 chain markete with 81 ilde branch. Kilosu 29-31 Imported meat, which was started to be sold at a price, caused great reaction of domestic producers. While the debate continues that meat imports are not aimed at solving the current issue in livestock, consumers also express doubts about the quality and reliability of imported meat. Experts warn.

EUROPEAN 2. AND 3. QUALITY MEAT TO BE IMPORTED

Prof. The quality, flavor and nourishment of our animal are not comparable with the animal there. As a meat specialist I say; red meat is very important for our health with a protein source and nutrition. Citizens need not only cheap meat, but good quality and cheap meat. The state should set a healthy livestock policy."

UNBONED MEAT IMPORTS DANGEROUS

Bülent Nazlı stated that the Meat and Milk Association will start importing lob meat beside carcass meat in the future. "If imports are done, it will be more accurate to buy live animals or carcasses. The quality of carcass meat is easier to identify and examine. I find it inconvenient to import lop meat. Since high-toned lob meat is imported, it is not possible to determine meat quality and quality. It will be very difficult to determine if future meat contains pork or diseased animal flesh. But it is easier to determine the meat type, meat age and quality, if the meat is taken instead of the lobed meat."

MANUFACTURERS TO LOSE

Fazlı Yalçındağ pointed out to the debate that the Meat and Milk Association's importation of meat would be an unfair competition reason to sell the grocery at the grocery stores.

Fazlı Yalçındağ, President of Turkish Federation of Butcheries, said, "If the goal is to sell cheap meat to citizens, we are also selling. The meat and dairies go to the department store to rent and sell this meat cheaply. In this case, the producer is leaving. You will receive the meat from another country, the meat from another country, then the cost will be very high. Instead of solutions that save the day, a more accurate and lasting solution must be found."
