The drug trouble, which Milli Gazete has never dropped from its agenda, continues to poison especially young people.

Furkan Keçe (28), one of them, who fell into a drug swamp about 10 years ago, could not get rid of the drug trouble despite the treatments he received.

Furkan Keçe lost his life after falling to the roof of their house with the effect of the substance he used, his father Ahmet Keçe, "I tried every way but I could not save my son from drugs. The state should act, to other lives not be hurt," he said.

His family tried every means, including medicated treatments, but could not save Furkan from the drug disease, and the young man's brain suffered 65 percent damage. Furkan, 28, fell from the roof of their house and died due to the drugs he used recently.

"65% DISAPPEARED IN THE BRAIN DUE TO DRUGS"

Father Ahmet Keçe told our newspaper what his son Furkan went through.

Father Keçe said, "About 10 years ago, my son got used to drugs through his friend. For 10 years, we went to every level of the state to save Furkan from this disease, and we did drug treatments. He slept in AMATEM, Bakırköy Mental Nerve Hospital. But we did not get a positive result, my son could not get rid of drugs. A 65 percent disability occurred in his brain due to the substances he used. That's why he used heavy drugs and needles. On January 18, he went to the roof of our house due to the effects of the substances he used and the psychological disorder, and died by falling down. My child died at the age of 28. The only reason that my child has become into this situation is the drugs. I tried very hard to fix it, but I was not successful."

"HIS PSYCHOLOGY WAS VERY BAD"

Telling the day of the incident with tears, the painful father said, "It seems like he has recovered a little more recently. He was performing his prayers. But at the same time he started buying and selling things from the house. He was in a crisis, his psychology was very bad. The drugs were also heavy. We had breakfast together on the day of the event. I went down to the course. His mother and brother would also go to the market. Furkan said to them, "I will go down to my father." But he didn't come near me. To take drugs that stole someone from the course. The children noticed and caught later, they took the phone. Then Furkan met his friends with whom he was taking drugs. They came across with her mother when she left the market. He said, "You go, I'm coming too." Then he came home nervously. He went upstairs saying something like "let me die, get rid of me". After 5-10 minutes, I heard my son shouting 'Call an ambulance'. My son was at the tip of the roof when I looked up. Before I could say 'Stop', my son's fall was one. He died here".

"HE COULD REACH THE DRUG ON THE STREET IMMEDIATELY"

Talking about the drug situation in Sancaktepe district where they live, Ahmet Keçe requested help from the state. Father Keçe said, "My son was in a position to go out on the street and reach drugs immediately. There are 10 drug dealers I know of in this area. Our neighbors' children still use it. Our generation is dead, our youth are collapsed. Let the state hear this and declare a drug mobilization. As a father who lost his son from this disease, my cry is to act from the state. He said, "It hurt me, don't let anyone else get hurt."
