US Central Command Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla visited the Hol and Roj camps in Syria, where the terrorist organization PKK/YPG keeps the families of DEASH members.
In a written statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated that Kurilla visited Syria on August 21 and went to the two camps mentioned.
Pointing out that Kurilla met with the so-called administrators of the Hol and Roj camps and the people held there, it was stated that the CENTCOM Commander supervised "the humanitarian situation, efforts to increase camp security and rehabilitation processes" there.
In the statement, it was noted that Kurilla stated that they are working to repatriate those in the camps to their own countries, and that security problems in the region will be reduced in this way.
In the statement, the CENTCOM Commander emphasized the cooperation with the terrorist organization PKK / YPG, which uses the name SDG in Syria, and it was reported that Kurilla also met with the ringleaders of the terrorist organization PKK / YPG.
HOL AND ROJ CAMPS
The PKK/YPG is holding civilians fleeing clashes with the families of the terrorist organization DEASH members in Deir ez-Zor in the Hol and Roj camps in Hasaka province.
Tens of thousands of people, mostly civilians, detained by the organization are housed in inhumane conditions in the camps. UN and non-governmental organizations warn that several times more people are being held in the Hol Camp with a capacity of 10 thousand people and that the humanitarian situation is getting worse.
