While various allegations were made in the public after the helicopter crashed in the Berkiyat region of Iraq's Amediye district on Turkey's Hakkari border, it remains a matter of curiosity how the helicopter fell into the hands of the terrorist organization PKK.

Retired Rear Admiral Assoc. Dr. Cihat Yaycı and Bahçeşehir University Faculty Member Abdullah Ağar, who made remarkable statements on the subject, made important statements regarding the USA-PKK relationship.

The AS350 Eurocopter type helicopter, which turned out to have PKK terrorists inside, crashed on March 16, 2023 in the Berkiyat region of Iraq's Amediye district, on the Hakkari border of Turkey.

While various allegations were made on the subject, it was a matter of curiosity how the helicopter fell into the hands of the terrorist organization PKK. While there were many question marks in minds about the incident, experts made evaluations for our newspaper.

“THE TWO POSSIBILITIES CONTAIN CRIMINAL ELEMENTS”

Cihat Yaycı made remarkable statements about the helicopter carrying PKK terrorists and crashed on Iraqi soil.

Noting that it is absolutely necessary to prevent the event from being covered up, Yaycı said, "Someone either carried PKK terrorists, which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the international community, with their own military helicopter, or gave helicopters to the terrorists."

Yaycı stated that both possibilities are a major international crime.

“USA IS KNOWN TO PROVIDE HELICOPTER TRAINING TO TERRORISTS”

Cihat Yaycı, who writes for the news site TV100, "It was revealed with its history and documents that the USA gave helicopter pilot training to PKK terrorists," said in his articles titled, "Is the Claw-Sword operations only a hit against the PKK/YPG?" and “When Turkey is the target, all enemies become friends!”

In addition to these, in his article published on November 20, Yaycı chronologically conveyed the information reflected in open sources about how the USA gave helicopter training to the PKK, including piloting, and even helicopters.

THE USA REJECTED, BUT PKK CONFIRMED

According to retired Rear Admiral Yaycı, in 2017, the American Military Times Magazine stated that the USA provided special forces training to the PKK/YPG clustered in northern Syria, and that this training was aimed at giving the PKK/YPG a so-called special forces group.

On the other hand, it was noted that the USA gave pilot training to PKK/YPG members in Syria and northern Iraq.

Although the USA denies these allegations, on March 28, 2021, PKK/YPG members announced to the world by boasting that the USA had given them piloting and airborne unit operations training.

US SUPPORT TO PKK/YPG IN AVIATION

On December 7, 2022, it was reflected in open sources that the ultimate goal of this training, in which the USA gave pilot training to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, was "to establish an independent aviation unit of the PKK/YPG".

According to the information reflected, the United States was conducting military maneuvers with the PKK/YPG in a region close to Turkey's border and providing aviation training to the terrorist organization.

US pilots had allocated two helicopters to the PKK/YPG. The PKK started to manufacture the paramotors it supplied, and received technical and logistical support from the US and coalition forces in this regard.

And finally, the US-led coalition forces, with the participation of PKK/YPG terrorists, had started to conduct parachuting and airborne exercises in northeast Syria.

ABDULLAH AĞAR ATTRACTED ATTENTION TO THE POSSIBILITY OF THE USA

Abdullah Ağar, Terrorism and Security Specialist and Faculty Member of Bahçeşehir University, pointed out that the United States may be behind the secret curtain about the helicopter that crashed in Iraq.

Making evaluations for the Milli Gazete, Ağar said that the public will remember how the USA did similar jobs in the region during the Hammer Power and occupation periods, and how it used US helicopters and other civilian-private company-official and army-made vehicles in its asymmetric and covert activities and relations it developed.

Agar, on the subject, "There's nothing too surprising about this helicopter thing. Of course, with a fine detail… In the past, helicopters were owned by the USA. Now, it seems that that saving was presented to the KYB and YPG/PKK," he said.
