Saadet Party Hatay Deputy Necmettin Çalışkan attended the Palestine Solidarity Conference organized by the Mandela Foundation in South Africa and participated in a number of programs.
WHAT HAPPENED IN GAZA IS A COMMON PROBLEM OF HUMANITY
Taking the floor at the Solidarity Conference with Palestine held in the capital Johannesburg, Çalışkan underlined in his speech that they stand by the people of Gaza.
"What happened in Gaza is a common problem not only for the Palestinian people, but for all humanity. Israel's policies and the humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip cause concern and sadness around the world. In order for this oppression to end, the whole world must unite and stand against Zionist Israel," Çalışkan said.
CONSULTATION WITH POLITICAL PARTY REPRESENTATIVES
During his visit to South Africa, Çalışkan held consultations with Al Jama-Ah Party Chairman Ganief Hendricks in Pretoria.
Politicians, who evaluated the relations between the two countries and the parties and their cooperation, decided to carry out studies on what needs to be done regarding Palestine.
During his visit, Çalışkan met with İbrahim Bam, President of the Union of South African Scholars, Muhammet Harun, Deputy Chairman of the AJA Party, and his delegation, and explained the political experience of Milli Görüş Movement.
Çalışkan also visited the grave of Ottoman Ambassador Muhammed Remzi and prayed.
PALESTINE THANKS TO MANDELA'S GRANDSON
Çalışkan also participated in the program of Hilal TV, which broadcasts Islamic music in Johannesburg.
"We explained the support of all segments of our country to the Palestinian struggle and its people. We would also like to thank Mandela's grandson, MP Mandla Mandela, who hosted the program, for his support to the Palestinian struggle," Çalışkan added.
VISIT TO AMBASSADOR KANDAŞ
On the last day of his visit, Çalışkan visited our Pretoria Ambassador Ayşegül Kandaş in her office and thanked them for their information about the country and their hospitality.
EARTHQUAKE THANKS TO RELIEF AGENCY
Çalışkan also visited the Two Lights Charity Organization, which sent aid from South Africa after the biggest earthquake in the history of our country last year, thanked the President of the Association, Ferid İbrahim Akkuji, and received information about their work.
