The district council meetings of the Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya district organizations held at the weekend, brought the wind of happiness in the city.

Prof. Dr. Sabri Tekir, Deputy Chairman of Saadet Party, Vice Chairman Cafer Güneş, Ersan Bilgin, Fatih Aydın and Member of the High Advisory Board Hüseyin Hacıabdullahoğlu attended the meetings held in 14 districts.

Sabri Tekir, Deputy Chairman of Saadet Party, who spoke at the Selçuklu District Council Meeting, drew attention to the problems experienced in the economy.

Noting that the economy cannot be leveled with an exploitative mentality, "Today, unfortunately, the biggest disaster in our country and the issue that is extremely difficult to understand is the usurpation of our citizens' hard earned earnings by some outbreaks. It is never possible to fix the economy with this exploitative mentality. There was something that late Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Hodja insisted on; He used to say that we will cut the hoses flowing to the colonizer. The Turkish nation cannot find comfort without eliminating the colonialists. The governments that destroy such a whirlwind mentality cannot survive in this country. This is the main reason why the 'Refah-Yol' government was targeted and overthrown.," he said.

TURKISH BUSINESSMEN HAVE ASSETS AS MUCH AS OUR EXTERNAL DEBT

Tekir stated that businessmen took their money out because there was no confidence in the economy in the country.

"Currently, Turkey's external debt fluctuates between $450 billion and $500 billion. I believe that our people also have that much money out there. I do not blame anyone, but it is clear that the insecurity in the country has caused this situation. Look, if only a quarter of the 450 billion dollars remained in this country, Turkey would not need other countries. Let's remember the 'Refah-Yol' government. $11.5 billion was brought in from abroad. During his rule, he never borrowed from outside with interest," Tekir added.

"2022 BUDGET WILL BE SPENT ON INTEREST AND CURRENT DEFICIT"

Speaking at the Karatay District Council Meeting, Deputy Chairman Cafer Güneş said that an unplanned path was followed in terms of unemployment and production in Turkey and that it would not be possible for Turkey to develop in line with these conditions.

Güneş stated that a large part of the 2022 budget will be spent on interest and current account deficits.
