After the monkeypox disease in Central Africa spread to England, European countries were alarmed. While there were only 9 cases in England, the disease spread to European countries that tried to take precautions, and monkeypox virus was seen in 23 people in Spain and 15 people in Portugal. After European countries, the disease moved beyond the ocean, and monkeypox virus disease began to appear in the USA and Canada. The new anxiety of the world, whose fight against the Covid-19 virus, which is thought to have emerged in Wuhan, China, has not yet ended, has become the monkeypox virus. The virus finally spread to Italy and Sweden.

MOST PATIENTS ARE NOT CONNECTED WITH EACH OTHER

Experts fear that known cases are the tip of the iceberg, and many of the patients are unrelated, suggesting a wider spread. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that more cases are expected in more countries in the coming weeks. The outbreak was described as 'unusual' by experts as person-to-person transmission of monkeypox was thought to be extremely rare. So far, the virus has only been detected in four countries outside of West or Central Africa, and all cases have had direct travel links to the continent.
