According to the report, the average adult individual in 2021 earns 23,380 Dollars ($) in purchasing power parity.

The richest 10 percent of the global population currently earns 52 percent of global income, while the poorest half of the population earns only 8 percent of global income. While a person from the top 10 percent of the global income distribution earns an average of $122,100 a year, an individual from the poorest half of the global income distribution earns an average of $3,920 a year.
Global wealth inequalities are becoming more apparent. The poorest half of the global population has virtually no assets. They hold only 2 percent of the total wealth. These inequalities are very high in North Africa and the Middle East, while they are measured at lower levels in Europe. The share of billionaires in global wealth is also rising rapidly. According to the report, an average adult in Turkey earns 85,010 Turkish Liras (TL) annually. The average income of the poorest 50 percent of the population is around 20,260 TL per year. The annual income of the richest 10 percent is 463,020 TL on average. In Turkey, the richest 10 percent receive 54,5 percent of all income, while the poorest 50 percent receive 12 percent.
