The heinous attack in which retired teacher Mustafa Kurt was injured took place in the Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş. The teacher, who went to his house on the crossroad in front of Hacı Mehmet Kalay Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School located on Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Boulevard in Bahçelievler District, became the target of street thieves.
Teacher Mustafa was beaten to death by two people with sticks and knives. Kurt, who received heavy blows from his hand, arm, back and chest, was taken to the hospital and operated on.
Mustafa Kurt, who could not get over the shock of the event, "I had business in the bazaar, then I stopped by the teacher's house, then I left there and walked down to my house, in front of the market under the mufti. I had reached the point that is twenty-five meters from the intersection in front of the Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for Girls. I noticed two people with sticks and knives approaching from behind the construction shed there. I saw two people, one of whom is about 1.90 m tall, dark, tall, and the other is thin, around 18 years old, of medium height. I suspected. I tried to take precautions, but they moved very quickly and hit my right and left arm with multiple sticks. I protected my head. At that time, they threatened me like 'We will show you your day'. he said.

The meatball seller in the corner near there came to help, I wanted to take their pictures. I couldn't take a picture because my hand was broken and my arm was broken. I gave the phone to a friend who came to help. They took the pictures. They called the police and paramedics. The police quickly arrived at the scene, followed by an ambulance. They took me to the hospital. I underwent surgery for fractures in my arm and hand and severe traumas elsewhere in my body. I think they came with the intention of killing me in a planned way. I don't know who they are yet. With the hard work of our police, who they are will soon be revealed. I don't know who or what would want an old, retired teacher like me. This city has returned to Texas. We could not leave our house with the fear of being attacked at any moment in our lives. Our state will overcome these thugs with sticks. They will get the punishment they deserve," he added.
