The General Administrative Board (GIK) Meeting, chaired by Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, is held online. Speaking in the program, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu stating that the government could not produce solutions to the problems and noting that they ignore the problems apart from not being able to produce solutions, he said, “The government sometimes tries to impose the problems either on the developments in the world or on the opposition by making an assuredness. But it should be known that the cause of the problems is the Justice and Development Party (AKP) government itself.”
POWER IS INSUFFICIENT AGAINST REFUGEES AS IN EVERY AREA
Reminding the posts about refugees that have been on the agenda recently, especially on social media, Karamollaoğlu pointed out that the main reason for what happened was immigration policies, and added, "In recent years, we see a rapid increase in the number of refugees entering our country illegally, as well as Syrian refugees. The government has been insufficient in this regard, as in all areas. It has neither provided border security nor implemented a policy. More sadly, the reactivity caused by some politicians towards asylum seekers paves the way for the atmosphere desired by the government when it comes to elections. One of the responsible parts of the start of Syria's civil war is the AKP power.”
EVERYONE SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF WHAT TO SPEAK AND TO ACT
Drawing attention to the fact that the main responsible for the problems experienced is the government, Karamollaoğlu called for the government to take responsibility in the face of what happened. Karamollaoğlu said, “The bill for the problems we are experiencing should be paid by the government, not by the refugees. The government should put forward a comprehensive immigration policy. Everyone needs to pay attention to their words and actions. It is not possible to solve this problem without normalizing with the countries in our region. In particular, politicians who polish each other with cheap heroism should be careful. The friend who is the minister of interior should be more careful. The President should also take responsibility immediately and prevent the events from escalating.”
EXPERIENCES REVEAL THE AWKWARDNESS OF THE AKP POWER
Drawing attention to the high inflation figures experienced, Karamollaoğlu stated that the main agenda of the citizens is the decreasing purchasing power, and added, “Inflation and cost of living are the pains of our citizens. Even the inflation figures that Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) tried to calculate on a sensitive scale reached 70 percent. There is also a side to show as a success in this. Previously, we were in the 7th rank in the highest inflation, now we are in the 6th rank. In the world ranking, we are left with the countries struggling with the civil war whose economy collapsed. Turkey is the country with the highest food inflation rate in Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries by 90 percent. The government comes up with some discourses to cover up the extent of the crisis. For example, the highest inflation in the last 41 years of the USA is a lie. It is said that Europe is experiencing the highest inflation in the last 20 years. Here, it is tried to be stated that there is inflation all over the world, but the figures are ignored. While we are voicing 60,70 percent, there are the highest figures of 6 percent. This shows the incompetence of the government.”
IF YOU WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, YOU WOULD TRY TO SOLVE IT
Karamollaoğlu pointed out that the government only uses the expressions ‘we are aware of the crisis’ and that these expressions are used to solve the problems. Stating that there is no solution against problems, he said, “Farmers cannot take care of their animals, send them to slaughter, shopkeepers close their shutters, while the esteemed Minister of Treasury and Finance is serenading President Erdoğan. He doesn't want to see the statement that he asked for his pardon from the post and it is accepted. Now they are trying to alleviate the responsibility on their shoulders by saying that we are aware of the problems that our people are experiencing due to high inflation. No, inflation is a problem, yes, but I have the opinion that if you had accepted this problem, you would have found a solution to this problem, but unfortunately, these people don't care because this inflation does not affect the well-to-do people. You are not aware of the problems of our people.”
