Commanders of NATO Land Forces in 16 countries met in Izmir. Moreover, the meeting is hosted by NATO Land Forces Command.

The meeting was chaired by LANDCOM Commander American General J.Thomson and the participants from various countries took the floor. In particular, the importance of cooperation was emphasized at the meeting which focused on the development of a common working culture. The participants also shared their experiences in different countries.
A COUNTRY DREW ATTENTION!
Georgia, Finland, Jordan, Morocco, Ukraine, Mongolia, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Australia, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand Land Forces commanders attended the meeting. Serbia was the most interesting country of the meeting. It is noteworthy that Serbia, known for its proximity to Russia and its opposition to NATO, will participate in a NATO meeting. Serbia is still not a NATO member.
PARTNER STATE DEFINITION
The meeting was held for the first time on November 25-26 with the slogan of the commanders of the first partner countries. It is possible that the latter will be realized later. Serbia's participation in this meeting, although not a NATO member, explains the definition of a partner country.
“Interoperability” to increase military cooperation in the name of the meeting held in the name of participation in each sense is high.
