The 9th Training Camp, organized by the Conscious Teachers Association (ÖĞ-DER) Headquarters, started in Nevşehir.
Along with the camp that started, the trainers will receive many trainings by experts in their fields.
Making a speech at the opening of the camp, ÖĞ-DER Chairman Hamdi Sürücü stated that they aimed to both rest and provide new information to the teachers with the camp held.
“NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE WITH EDUCATION IN THE LAST 20 YEARS”
Drawing attention to the fact that education is the most important issue of the society, Sürücü stated that the holidays exist to acquire new information rather than to spend free time.
"Here we will talk about our point of view on life, we will explain. You all know these topics, but why are we talking, we're just talking to remind you. In the turmoil of the world, let's come back to ourselves in the course of the world that separated us from ourselves. We strive to look at our own world from our own perspective. In the last two decades, worldly work has been done, buildings have been built, but nothing has been done about education," Sürücü said.
“WE REPRESENT THE ESSENCE OF THIS NATION”
Stating that it is important for people to develop without spoiling their nature, Sürücü noted that they frequently remind the government about this issue.
"For the last 200 years, education has been separated from our faith and culture. This education condemns us to the West. We want education that touches people's hearts and keeps their mind and heart in line. We are working for this and we are trying to remind you of them again. We think that the teacher should be an exemplary person. We want to train teachers who will set an example with their own style. This is a job to be done with our own culture, not a job to be done with Western culture. We say it, we know they're listening to us. They apply some of what they hear after 5-6 months. We say that our proposals should be implemented without shaping, we represent the essence of this nation," Sürücü added.
