While the debate on the abolition and reintroduction of mandatory PCR testing continued, it turned out that the PCR testing market was established in the healthcare industry. PCR testing, which has become an industry with the mandatory testing, has become the new income source for health centers. Many private health centers entered the race to attract more customers with their campaigns.

The PCR test, which has increased in importance with the pandemic affecting the whole world, has become one of the most important sources of income for many private health centers. While many health institutions are announcing prices for PCR testing, some are trying to attract more customers by organizing campaigns!

FIND CUSTOMERS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING

Private health institutions in Turkey are almost hunting customers through PCR testing. Organizations that made high-volume advertisements on social media started campaigns starting from 175 Turkish Liras (TL). The PCR test, which is 175 TL in the internet environment, can go up to 500 TL. Citizens who cannot take the PCR test due to the multiplicity of rows in public hospitals, are obliged to have a test in private health institutions for a fee.

THERE IS HUGE PRICE GAP, NO INSPECTION

While citizens were happy with the removal of the PCR test requirement last weekend, private health institutions were the opposite. However, even after 24 hours, the institutions continued from where they left off with the introduction of the obligation again. The absence of any control over the PCR test, which has become a market, causes gaps in prices.
