Israel continues to be held accountable before the international judiciary for its crimes against humanity in Gaza. This time, the International Court of Justice convened for the "advisory opinion hearing" requested by the United Nations. During the hearings, 52 states, including Turkey, and 3 international organizations will make oral statements.

IT WILL TAKE 6 DAYS

 
Speaking at the hearing that started yesterday at the International Court of Justice, Palestinian Minister Maliki said:
 
The genocide in Gaza is the result of decades of impunity. It is a legal obligation to end Israel's impunity.
 
Accordingly, 52 states, including Turkey, as well as the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the African Union, will make statements on the legal consequences of the killer Israel's practices in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, between 19-26 February.
 
Each state and organization will make a thirty-minute presentation during the 6-day hearings, where the consequences of the occupation, especially on the terrorist Israel, as well as the consequences of the occupation for the states and the United Nations (UN), will be discussed.
