As many as three village guards have been martyred by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in the southeastern Turkish province of Hakkari.
The incident occurred in Büyükçiftlik neighborhood in the town of Yüksekova on Thursday, as PKK terrorists opened fire on the security forces.
PKK has been conducting attacks since July 2015, when the group ended the ceasefire.
Turkey has been conducting operations across the country against the PKK terrorist organization, along with the ongoing airstrikes against terrorist targets in northern Iraq. More than 7,000 PKK terrorists were killed by Turkish forces since that date.
