The President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), Bendevi Palandöken, stated that he expects the opening of the Assembly to equalize the number of premium days for the tradesmen and craftsmen who cannot retire due to the high number of premium days required for retirement.
In his written statement, Palandöken stated that the demand of tradesmen and craftsmen to reduce the number of premium days to 7,200 days by equalizing with those of SSK members was met positively.
Expressing that the tradesmen are locked in the fact that the works on this subject will be discussed and accepted in the Grand National Assembly in a short time, Palandöken said following words:
"Now is the time for the gospel to be fulfilled. Social Security Institution; Bağ-Kur is a place where the problems of all employees who are covered by SSK and Pension Fund will be solved together. With the new regulation to be made, norm unity will be ensured and all employees will be able to retire at the same time. By making improvements in wages, the lowest pension should not be below the minimum wage. Despite the fact that the health insurance of the internship victims continues, the problem that arises from the fact that they are not included in the retirement period continues. With a new regulation, the way for internship victims should be cleared. It should not be forgotten that a significant income will be provided to the state with retrospective borrowing, which envisages the tradesmen to benefit from Retirement Age Victims (EYT). Elimination of these grievances of our tradesmen and craftsmen is very important for the happiness of millions of people. Now is the time to meet the expectations of our craftsmen."
