US President Donald Trump has made a threat through his Twitter account amid growing US-Iran tension.
Claiming, "Iran leadership doesn’t understand the words 'nice' or 'compassion,' they never have," Trump said the USA is by far the most powerful Military Force in the world, with 1.5 Trillion Dollars invested over the last two years alone.
Arguing that Iran is responsible for the death of many Americans, Trump threatened Iran that "Any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force. In some areas, overwhelming will mean obliteration. No more John Kerry & Obama!"
The US government imposed new sanctions on Tuesday on Tehran, including supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Abbas Mousavi said in a statement that the US had closed the doors to diplomacy with sanctions targeting Khamenei and Mohammad Javad Zarif.
