Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Istanbul Branch Extended Provincial Council Meeting was held at the Adem Baştürk Cultural Center in an enthusiastic atmosphere. AGD-National Youth Foundation (MGV) Chairman Salih Turhan, AGD Istanbul Branch President Mehmet Yaroğlu, AGD Istanbul former branch presidents Serhat Akçay and Yunus Genç, provincial and district board members, university, high school, secondary school commissions and more than a thousand members of National Vision (Milli Gorus) participated in the program. In the program that started with Hafiz Yusuf Karlı's recitation of the Qur’an, Group Anadolu Youth took the stage with their enthusiastic tunes. The program, in which Salih Turhan, Mehmet Yaroğlu, Serhat Akçay and Yunus Genç addressed the members of the organization, ended with their report presentations.
“WE CAME TOGETHER ONLY FOR GOD'S SAKE”
AGD Istanbul Branch President Mehmet Yaroğlu, who made the greeting speech in the program, said, “As the community in this hall, we came together without any worldly interest or benefit, only for the sake of Allah Almighty. This is very valuable work. My brothers and sisters, who have made a commitment to pass on the idea that our Erbakan Hodja has entrusted to us, say from here, ‘Teacher, this case that you entrusted to us is in safe hands.’ I congratulate each and every one of you for this stance, for this uprising.”
"LET'S WELCOME THE HOLY MONTH RAMADAN IN THE BEST WAY"
AGD-MGV Chairman Salih Turhan, who started his speech by talking about the importance of Ramadan, said, “My brothers, we are in a very precious time period. Today is the 24th day of Shaban Month. Hopefully, next week, we will welcome the holy month of Ramadan. Let's revive this coming week in a way that will welcome Ramadan in the best way possible.”
“WE EXPLAIN THE MEANING OF JIHAD THROUGH OUR CANAKKALE ACTIVITIES”
“Çanakkale tells us a lot, my brothers. Çanakkale means jihad. We are trying to explain the true meaning of jihad through Çanakkale. Along with jihad, we convey the concept of martyrdom and the beauty of martyrdom to our youth. And of course, we are struggling to transfer the concept of 'consciousness', which our teacher Erbakan attaches great importance to, the consciousness of being a ummah, faith, sincerity and trust to the next generations, in the most correct sense," Salih Turhan added.
“THE ESSENTIAL OF THE NATIONAL VISION CASE IS TAWHID”
Salih Turhan, who said, "AGD organizations look at the issues from the perspective of National Vision," added, “The concept of 'National' in Milli Gorus is the Nation of Abraham, the Ummah, the Islamic brotherhood. The understanding of Milli Gorus is based on prioritizing God Almighty, not brute strength, on spiritualism rather than materialism, on disciplining the nafs rather than on servitude to the nafs. The essence of the cause of Milli Gorus is tawhid, every nationalist vision member knows that only Allah Almighty has power and might. Jihad in the way of Allah Almighty is one of the most fundamental principles of our cause. We are struggling to make Truth dominant by organizing in accordance with the procedures and principles.”
