Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) İzmir Branch Traditional Iftar was held with the participation of Chairman Salih Turhan. Making a speech after the fast-breaking, Turhan said, “We are in the last week of Ramadan, the month of mercy and forgiveness. Ramadan is not just about spending a month with the intensity of worship. For us Muslims, the month of Ramadan is also a month of education.”
Iftar programs of Anatolian Youth Association in Turkey and abroad continue intensively. Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) - National Youth Foundation (MGV) President Salih Turhan, vice presidents and hundreds of AGD members attended the traditional iftar program organized by AGD İzmir Branch.
TURHAN: “RAMADAN IS THE MONTH OF EDUCATION”
Addressing the participants after the iftar, AGD-MGV Chairman Salih Turhan added, “We are in the last week of Ramadan, the month of mercy and forgiveness. Ramadan is not just about spending a month with the intensity of worship. For us Muslims, Ramadan is also a month of education. "OUR BROTHERS ARE BLEEDING"
Continuing his speech, Turhan said: “Our brothers in Muslim geographies are bleeding. Dozens of our puppies become orphans every day. Parents are deprived of their children. We need to meditate on these issues, too. We should ask ourselves, and with Muslim anger, we should ask the oppressors why we cannot prevent the slightest harm done to even one of our Muslim brothers.”
