Salih Turhan, President of the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) and the National Youth Foundation (MGV), addressed the members of the association and citizens by attending the traditional iftar programs organized by many provincial representatives of the association and also the Regional Meetings in Mersin and Antalya. Expressing that there are many oppressed geographies in the world, Turhan said, “Wars and occupations are continuing in more than 300 points actually. Most of these places are Islamic geographies. We cannot ignore them and withdraw,” he said.

Reminding that Masjid al-Aqsa, the first qiblah of the first Muslims, was involved in the wars that continued at more than 300 points around the world, Turhan added, “The persecution in our first qiblah, Masjid al-Aqsa, has been going on since 1947. Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of our brothers martyred. May God Almighty help all our brothers and sisters.”
“RAMADAN IS THE MONTH OF JIHAT”
Emphasizing that month of Ramadan is a month of struggle, Turhan stated that the struggle continues and said, “Let's not forget that Ramadan is a month of jihad for us. When we look at the life of our Prophet (pbuh), we see that this month of blessings is full of expeditions and works to save people. As religious and believing people, we cannot ignore and step aside when there are so many problems on earth and our brothers and sisters are facing attacks and invasions. Together, we must fight for the truth to dominate the world.”
