Expressing that wage earners are crushed under a serious tax burden in terms of direct income and indirect income, “The current tariffs and rates in the taxation of wages make the employees aggrieved. The net wages of the workers at the beginning of the year are gradually decreasing in the following months due to the regulation in tax brackets. For this reason, wage increases obtained through collective bargaining agreements lose their meaning. Türk-İş Confederation Board of Presidents urgently demands that regulations be made to prevent the income loss of workers due to taxation,” the statement said.

Likewise, municipal company workers should be permanently recruited and given personal rights.
