These 4 different openings are the fruit of this. As IHH, in the country; We have various activities to meet the needs of orphans, education, water and general needs. Our guests from Turkey came for the opening of our permanent work projects, which we have focused on in recent years. Together with them, we made 4 different openings. As IHH, we are trying to produce projects related to the general problems of the society. As Turkey's ‘brotherly hand’, we continue our activities here. We would like to thank our donors and volunteers who did not leave us alone. Almighty God bless them.”
“EVERY HELP IS A GREAT FAVOR”
Sibel Erkan, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Freetown, on the other hand, reminded that Sierra Leone is among the ten least developed countries in the world and every aid provided by the international community is like medicine to the country. Stating that IHH has been operating in the country for about 10 years, Sibel Erkan said, “The foundation, which has now gained international status, has made a great impact with its services in Sierra Leone recently. In total, 2 mosques, 1 orphanage and 1 faculty were put into service. Assistance was provided to 5 orphanages. When the people of the country see all these, they show great love and concern towards our country. Any help here is a huge favor. For this reason, the contributions of all our NGOs across Africa and in Sierra Leone are undoubtedly of great value.”
