One year has passed since the death of Oğuzhan Asiltürk, one of the late leaders of Milli Görüş Movement and former Chairman of the High Advisory Board (YİK) of Saadet Party.
The deceased Asiltürk was ill with shortness of breath due to pneumonia on September 13, 2021 in Istanbul, and was brought to Ankara City Hospital with his wife for treatment.
Asiltürk passed away at the age of 86 while the treatment process continued.
On the anniversary of his death, Asiltürk will be commemorated all over the country and in the TRNC with commemoration programs.
In Ankara, his grave in Cebeci Asri Cemetery was visited and prayers were read.
Then, following the evening prayer, the mawlid-i sharif was read in Ankara Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque.

Asiltürk was commemorated at his grave with recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers.
