The government, in order to support agriculture in 2006, with the law to provide at least 1 percent of the gross national product must give agriculture. Since 2007, the support given in any period did not reach 1 percent. It changed between 0.5 and 0.7 percent. In other words, our country's bellowing agriculture did not see the expected support.

According to the article 21 of the Agricultural Law, which came into force in 2006, the resources to be allocated from the budget for agricultural support each year were determined to be at least 1 percent of the gross national product (GNP). However, given the data, support for agriculture has been below 1 percent since 2007. Since 2007, the share of agricultural subsidies in the gross national product ranges between 0.5 percent and 0.7 percent. So the amount is not given to the manufacturer.

When we look at the years, it is better to understand that the support should not be given. While the amount to be paid to farmers in 2015 is 17 billion TL, the amount paid is 13 billion TL. In 2016, Turkey's GDP of 2 trillion 608 billion lira. Agricultural support is expected to be at 26 billion pounds, while the amount of support to be announced 14.8 billion pounds was under 11.2 billion pounds. In other words, the amount determined in 2016 was not paid to farmers. In 2017, national income was calculated as 2 trillion 404 billion TL. Accordingly, the share to be allocated for agricultural support from the budget should be TL 20.4 billion. However, the share allocated to agriculture from the 2017 budget remained at 12 billion 837 TL.

Experts, imports increased, production decreased during this period should be granted in full support should be given to producers emphasized that, "no period in Turkey not given GDP to 1 percent of the farmers exactly giving farmers take a sigh of relief to be provided. In this period, when the import is at an extreme level, it is necessary to give the farmers the right and increase the production .

The total amount of agricultural support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in the last 11 years from 2007 to 2017 has reached TL 92 billion. However, according to agricultural law, the amount of support in this period should be at least 141 billion TL. In the meantime, there is a minimum difference of £ 49 billion to be paid to the farmer within the framework of the laws. The state has to pay 49 billion pounds, but the farmers have to pay the debt.
