Turkey orders arrest of 110 FETÖ suspects

Turkish authorities issued arrest warrants on Friday for 110 people from the seized Kaynak Holding over alleged links to the U.S.-based Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) ringleader Fetullah Gülen who orchestrated last year's attempted coup.

Turkish authorities issued arrest warrants on Friday for 110 people from the seized Kaynak Holding over alleged links to the U.S.-based Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) ringleader Fetullah Gülen who orchestrated last year's attempted coup.
 
The police operation to seize the suspects, who were managers, partners and employees of the publishing group Kaynak Holding and related companies, was focused on Istanbul but spread across 24 provinces.
 
A total of 249 people were martyred and more than 2,100 injured in the coup attempt perpetrated by FETÖ. The failed coup was organized by followers of U.S.-based Fetullah Gülen, who has pursued a long-running campaign to overthrow the government through supporters within the Turkish state, particularly the military, police and judiciary.
