President Erdogan answered journalists' questions after his visit to Uzbekistan. A journalist asked, “There was a process that you followed so that Akkuyu would not be delayed. Is there any detail you can share with us on this matter?” To the question, President Erdoğan gave the following answer: “An agreement has also been reached regarding Akkuyu. With this agreement, they agreed with the Turkish company IC, which is currently there. I hope we will be able to finish the first unit and inaugurate the first unit in 2023 by continuing the next process rapidly,” he said.
