Turkey reports 23 new deaths from covid-19

23 people have died from Covid-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,692, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Sunday.

Turkey has so far reported 170,132 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 914 cases in the last 24 hours.

137,969 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 613 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 274 patients who are mechanically ventilated. 

A total of 2,338,593 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
