A PKK terror attack late Thursday left one village guard martyred and three others wounded in eastern Turkey, according to local sources.
The attack was carried out in Ercis district of Van province, said the sources who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to media.
The wounded were taken to Ercis state hospital, the sources said.
Anti-terror operations are going on in the region against the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU.
The terrorist group resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015 and has since been responsible for the deaths of around 1,200 people, including women and children.
