"A rise in general index was realized in Consumer Price Index on the previous month by 2.67 percent, on December of the previous year by 22.56 percent, on same month of the previous year by 25.24 percent and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 14.90 percent in October," Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.
The annual domestic producer price index (D-PPI) hit 45.01 percent with a monthly increase of 0.91 points, according to a separate statement by TÜİK.
The highest increases in D-PPI were recorded in energy (81.61 percent), intermediate goods (48.59 percent), and capital goods (43.21 percent).
