Turkey's coronavirus death toll rises by 123 to 2,140

Turkey's confirmed cases of the COVID-19 disease increased by 4,674 in the past 24 hours, and 123 more people have died, taking the death toll to 2,140, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Monday.

123 more people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 2,140, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Monday.

Turkey has so far reported 90,980 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 4,674 in the last 24 hours.

As 1,909 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, of those, 1,033 people are mechanically ventilated patients. 

13,430 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
