Despite the high number of opposition parties in parliament, ruling AKP is constantly rejecting the parliamentary research proposals submitted by the opposition parliamentarians.

SOCIAL ISSUES REJECTED IN THE ASSEMBLY

 
Political Scientist Dr. Emre Bağce evaluated the issues to the Milli Gazete.
 
Reminding that the political parties were in the Parliament to represent the nation. Dr. Emre Bağce; "We see TBMM as the place where the will of the nation is manifested. But especially after the presidential system, an ineffective Assembly emerged. There are reasons for this. Politics began to be perceived as more biased. In the new order, if it is my side, it is acted according to it and if it is your side, it is rejected. This is a problem brought by the bias. In the interest of society? Regardless of this, they look at who proposed it. You will recall that this question was recently suspended from a party of MHP deputies because of its position in the motion."
 

RESEARCH PROPOSALS REJECTED IN THE ASSEMBLY AFTER JUNE 24

 
* In light of the information that emerged after the July 15 coup attempt, the proposal for the establishment of the Parliamentary Research Commission by the GOOD Party was rejected by the votes of the AKP and MHP to reveal the political leg of the Fethullah Gülen (FETÖ) structure.
 
* The research proposal submitted by the GOOD Party about the train accident that killed 24 citizens in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ was rejected by the votes of AKP and MHP deputies.
 
* AKP's rejection of the CHP's proposal on Early Age Retirement (EYT) was rejected by MHP's abstentions.
 
* CHP's proposal to investigate the causes of the growing brain drain in recent years Turkey has been rejected with the votes of AKP deputies.
 
* The HDP's research proposal for the investigation of the death of 11-year-old Rabia Naz Vatan who died suspiciously in Eynesil district of Giresun was rejected by AKP and MHP votes.
 
* The proposition of the GOOD Party to s investigate the persecution of the Uighur Turks was rejected by AKP and MHP votes.
