Felicity (Saadet) Party Deputy Chairman Fatih Aydin published a written statement about the problems experienced in the agriculture and livestock sector.

Drawing attention to the problems experienced in the agricultural sector in his statement, Aydin underlined that agriculture is a matter of national security and noted that while Turkey was a self-sufficient country in agriculture, it became an importer due to wrong policies.

Stating that they have gathered the problems of farmers under 4 main headings, Aydin said that these topics are "educational problem, health problem, transportation problem, economic problems".

Aydin said that access to education is limited in many rural villages and pointed out that many villages do not have primary and secondary schools.

Stating that the villages are no longer a living space and that the young population who does not see a future in agriculture flock to the cities, Aydin stated that there are no health centers in many villages and emphasized that the farmers are deprived of the necessary health services.

Aydin also touched upon the transportation problem of the farmers.

"Despite being proud of the double roads built at every opportunity, there are problems in the transportation of many of our villages due to the lack of road works. Especially in winter, many village roads are closed to transportation and almost open prisons are formed," Aydin added.

GIVE THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY OF PURCHASE

Emphasizing that as the Saadet Party, they will solve the problems in agriculture and animal husbandry, Aydın explained the steps to be taken by the Saadet Party, item by item;

1. By radically changing the existing faulty agricultural policies, an agricultural policy centered on production and producers should be put into practice.

2. Our producers, who are offended by the land because they cannot earn money, but longing for it, should be brought together with the land and animals again.

3. The form, quality and amount of the so-called supports should be changed and the supports should be given to real producers and in sufficient amount.

4. It is absolutely necessary to switch to the planned production model.

5. Pastures should be removed from being a source of income and should be offered to real producers.

6. In order to increase farmer income, measures should be taken not to increase product prices, but to decrease input prices.

7. Discounted diesel oil should be given to our farmers, who feed millions, not to million-dollar ships.

8. A "purchase guarantee" should be given to our farmers who work day and night, not a guarantee of passage to the contractors who build highways and bridges.

9. Real measures should be taken to prevent land division. The lands that cannot be cultivated due to fragmentation should be brought back into production.

10. The faithful half of our producers, who were condemned to the concrete piles in the metropolitan areas, should still be the land and be brought together with the land they cultivated.

11. Our producers should be saved from migration because they cannot make a living, so our farmer should stay in his village and develop his country.

12. Schools that provide adequate education in rural areas and our villages should be built, and health centers that provide good health services should be put into operation.

13. The financial problem in agricultural inputs should be solved with zero tax and zero interest. Our farmers should be given financial literacy training.

14. Social areas should be established to protect our culture and our identity and transfer them to new generations.
