Turkish troops stationed on the border for the Idlib operation have caused the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organization to panic. The organization has evacuated many of its terrorists with the fear of a siege. With the support of the Syrian Muhaberat, some terrorists were sent to the Mediterranean coastal towns and others to the Turkey’s southeast via Aleppo-Hasakah and then northern Iraq.

US and Assad set traps for Turkey

Multi-dimensional traps are being set for Turkey, which delivered a huge blow by initiating the Idlib operation. While the U.S. urges groups in the region to fight the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) in return for support, Muhaberat intelligence agents linked to Assad have infiltrated Idlib with the aim of sabotaging Turkish troops.

Traps targeting Turkish troops, who will be positioned in Idlib aiming to stabilize de-escalation zones, are being set up by different actors, especially by Assad and the U.S.

According to Yeni Şafak sources, approximately 150 to 200 male and female Muhaberat agents entered Idlib through Hama-Homs by presenting themselves as victims and migrants. It is feared this group will conduct various forms of sabotage in the coming days.

Despite the Astana agreement, the Assad regime continues to provoke and bomb various points across Idlib.

US encourages regional groups to clash with TAF

The U.S., which has been incapacitated following Turkey’s Idlib move, is resorting to every measure to undermine the process.

The Pentagon and the CIA met with some groups in Idlib and encouraged them to start an armed resistance if the TAF enters the region. According to information received by Yeni Şafak, Americans who met with some opposition groups promised to "provide support through Jordan if you fight with Turkey.”

Regime positions Daesh in Idlib

Some of the thousands of Daesh terrorists transported from the Hama- Okeirbat and Qalamoun regions with regime buses were stationed in Idlib. The ammunition needs of the Daesh terrorists who will sabotage the TAF will be provided by Muhaberat.

The primary goal of the anti-Turkey bloc is to ensure a major conflict between Turkey and the opposition groups in Idlib, and postpone the Afrin operation.

First attack on the border

The first Turkish delegation entered Idlib on Sunday morning under the scope of the operation. The Turkish convoy of three vehicles, which was accompanied by opposition groups, stayed inside for eight hours as it passed through the posts of the PKK and its Syrian affiliate the Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist organizations.

The delegation, which later passed through Daret Izza, just south of the region, was attacked by terrorists from the PYD. Artillery shot from the terrorists positioned south of Afrin fell 200 meters from the Turkish delegation, and there were no casualties or injuries.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
