This year, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation carried out sacrifice activities in 66 countries, including Türkiye.
The Foundation distributed 102,266 shares of Qurban meat to those in need on 4 continents.
IHH, which focused more on its work for Palestine and Gaza during Eid al-Adha this year, sacrificed 43,615 shares of qurban animals, for which it was mandated, to be delivered to the region.
Due to the difficult conditions caused by the occupation and massacres of Israel during the apartheid regime, some of the qurban animals, most of which were slaughtered outside Palestine, will be canned and some will be delivered to Gaza frozen.
With the distributions planned in Gaza, the foundation will deliver qurban meat to more than 4 million people within the scope of Eid al-Adha activities in 2024.
42,245 CHILDREN WERE HAPPY WITH THE FESTIVAL
The Foundation gifted Eid dresses to 42,245 orphans and children in need in 16 countries, contributing to their happiness.
The countries where Eid dresses are distributed are as follows:
Turkey, Afghanistan, Arakan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Iraq, Iran, Montenegro, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Sudan, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia and Yemen.
QURBAN MEATS WERE SHARED AND FESTIVAL FOODS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN TURKEY TOO
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation carried out qurban activities in Turkey, mainly in earthquake zones.
In Turkey, 2,845 shares of qurban were sacrificed by the Foundation, and holiday clothes were distributed to 13,242 orphans and children in need.
