The Turkish military has killed three PKK terrorists in the southeastern Diyarbakir province on Friday.
An air supported counterterrorism operation was conducted on Friday afternoon in the village of Dibek in the province's Lice district, a statement from the Diyarbakir governor's office said on Saturday.
In a separate operation in eastern Kars province's Kagizman district, another terrorist was killed on Saturday, Governor Rahmi Dogan told Anadolu Agency.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU -- resumed its armed campaign against Turkey in July 2015. Since then, it has been responsible for the deaths of more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians.
