IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which took action after the 7 magnitude earthquake in Morocco, whose epicenter was in the Al-Huz region of Marrakech, continues its work in the region.
According to the latest statement from official sources, the number of deaths exceeded 2,500, while nearly 3,000 people were injured and according to the latest estimates, around 300,000 people were affected by the earthquake.
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation initially distributed food packages, blankets and clothes to hundreds of people affected by the earthquake.
THE AID DELIVERED TO 160 FAMILIES
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation started emergency aid efforts after the earthquake.
In the first phase of the work, food packages, blankets and clothes were distributed to 160 families.
The products included in the food packages are as follows: 2 kg rice, 2 kg chickpeas, 2 kg lentils, 2 kg pasta, 2 kg beans.
Within the scope of the work, baby food and hygiene materials are also distributed to those in need.
The 7-person humanitarian aid team sent to the country by the Foundation carries out needs assessments as well as humanitarian aid work.
According to the reports to be made, more comprehensive aid activities are planned to be carried out by IHH.
