With the 'Aqsa Flood' operation launched against the occupying Israel on October 7, Palestine launched an operation against the occupation policy that Israel has been implementing for years.
Making a written statement regarding the operation initiated by Palestine, Turkish Imam Hatip Foundation (TİMAV) Chairman Dr. Sami Bayrakcı stated that Israel has been occupying Palestine for decades and said:
"We support the legitimate Aqsa Flood operation of the Islamic Resistance Movement, and we condemn the attacks of the bloody Israeli government directly targeting civilians and the open statements of support for this brutality by states that are hypocrites of democracy," Bayrakcı said.
Pointing out that the Palestinian people have been suffering under oppression for years, Bayrakcı reminded that the settlements were occupied by Israeli citizens and their freedom of worship was taken away from them.
"We invite everyone, especially members of the media and some politicians, who make unfounded claims about the legitimacy of this counter-move against the oppression that has been going on for 80 years, to be merciful. As for our brothers who follow and share the developments on the subject with the sensitivity of 'Let me at least be the one to announce the oppression!' and choose their side on the side of the oppressed; We sincerely warn people to use social media more consciously, not to trust unconfirmed news, and not to help spread false information," Bayrakçı added.

Stating that the legitimacy of the just struggle of the Palestinian people will not be discussed, Bayrakcı stated that the developments have proven that Israel is a terrorist organization.
"Al-Aqsa Flood; It has clearly demonstrated once again that Israel's power and might are only sufficient for unarmed innocent civilians, and it has also revealed how unfounded and unnecessary some of the preconceptions about Israel are. Israel is like a tumor in the heart of the region that must be removed as soon as possible. Our hearts are filled with the love of Aksa and Jerusalem; We would like you to know that our hearts beat with our oppressed and victimized Muslim brothers living in Gaza, the West Bank, Hebron and other parts of the Palestinian geography," he said.
