Turkish Lira loses the biggest value against the dollar!

According to the chart shared by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Turkish Lira (TL) has been the currency that has lost the most value against the US Dollar since the beginning of the year.

The IMF has published a new article titled ‘What should countries do against a strong dollar’.

In the article, it was reported that the terms of trade changed in favor of the USA. 

According to the chart shared by the IMF, while the currencies of all countries except Brazil, Mexico and Peru depreciated against the dollar, the biggest depreciation since the beginning of the year was in the TL. 

The TL lost more than 30 percent of its value against the dollar.
