The opening ceremony held at the school was attended by Turkey's Ambassador to Pristina Sabri Tunç Angılı, Mitrovica Mayor Bedri Hamza and the President of the Turkish Delegation Colonel Recai Yılmaz, as well as representatives of Turkish institutions working in the country, teachers and students.
In his speech here, Ambassador Angılı said that Kosovo has a great place in Turkey's heart.
Angılı stated that Turkey has responsibilities regarding Kosovo, which it sees as a friend and brother.
"We, as Turkey, support Kosovo to stand on its own feet with all its institutions, and we think that this will be very beneficial for both Kosovo and the stability and security of the Balkans," he said.

Mitrovica Mayor Hamza also pointed out that Turkey gave great support in various fields in the establishment and development of the Republic of Kosovo.
"I would like to thank the Turkish people, the state of Turkey and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for all their support to the state of Kosovo," he said.
Turkish Representative Delegation President Yılmaz emphasized that they support Kosovo with projects in every field, but that they attach great importance to the projects in the field of education, which will create the future of the country.
After the speeches, the guests cut the opening ribbon of the computer classroom renovation project and toured the hall.
Within the scope of the project, the computer classroom was renovated and computers and other necessary equipment were purchased.
The technical school, which started its operations in 1946, has been serving under the name "Mimar Sinan" since 1992.
