Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya evaluated the six-month process since the day he took office.
 
He underlined that they continue to fight day and night against all kinds of negative situations that disrupt the peace of the citizens, especially terrorist organizations.
 
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya evaluated the 180 days since he took office at the meeting he held. He met with members of the media and explained what was done in the "Ankara Media 180 Meeting" program at the Security and Emergency Situations Coordination Center (GAMER) in Ankara.
 
Underlining that they continue to fight day and night against all kinds of negative situations that disturb the peace of the citizens, especially terrorist organizations, Yerlikaya stated that UAVs, UCAVs and IKUs (manned reconnaissance aircraft) have flown for 28 thousand 180 hours in the operations in the last 180 days within the scope of the fight against terrorism.
 
Stating that 13 thousand 641 operations were carried out against the terrorist organization PKK/KCK, 1973 of which were in cities and 11 thousand 668 in rural areas, Yerlikaya said, “In the operations against the separatist terrorist organization, 53 were killed, 363 were alive and 4 were injured.” "502 terrorists were neutralized, 82 of whom surrendered," he said.
 

100 ACTS OF TERRORIST WERE PREVENTED IN 6 MONTHS

 
Yerlikaya also gave information about the operations carried out within the scope of the fight against terrorism. Yerlikaya underlined that 100 terrorist acts were prevented in 6 months.
 
"82 of them were terrorists who were going to carry out bomb attacks and 18 were terrorists. May our dear nation be relieved, we will not stop until the last terrorist is neutralized, we will continue our fight with determination and determination," Yerlikaya said.
 

NARVAS WAS INTRODUCED FOR THE FIRST TIME

 
Minister Yerlikaya shared the Narcotic Case Analysis System (NAVAS) application with the public for the first time.
 
"NARVAS first started in Istanbul on June 1, 2022, to provide more effective analysis of narcotic reports coming through 112 and UYUMA Mobile application. This project is being implemented in 30 metropolitan cities as of November 1, 2023. NARVAS is a software project that enables the analysis of notifications made by our citizens, the creation of density maps based on analysis, the detection and capture of criminals, and the preparation of location and time-oriented combat plans and strategies. With the project, we prepare crime maps, identify risky areas, and create narco-area areas. Within the scope of the NARVAS Project, 9 thousand 675 reports regarding narcotics were received in 30 metropolitan cities in November alone," Yerlikaya added.
 

THERE ARE 4 MILLION 613 THOUSAND 984 REGULAR IMMIGRANTS

 
Yerlikaya stated that the fight against irregular migration continues with determination and also announced the numbers of regular immigrants in our country. 
 
"First of all, I would like to share the number of regular immigrants in our country. The number of Syrians under temporary protection is 3 million 237 thousand 585, those staying with a residence permit are 1 million 113 thousand 761, those under international protection are 262 thousand 638. In other words, there are a total of 4 million 613 thousand 984 regular immigrants in our country," Yerlikaya stated.
 

TIKTOK IS ON THE MINISTRY'S RADAR

 
Yerlikaya also made evaluations about the social media application TikTok, which has come to the agenda of the society with its immoral content in recent days.
 
"14 out of 1332 account managers were arrested in the last 6 months. Judicial control was given to 48 of them. Deportation proceedings are ongoing for 14 people. Necessary procedures regarding 612 accounts, which were identified and sent to our relevant units, continue," Yerlikaya said.
 
Answering the questions of journalists in the question and answer section, Minister Yerlikaya also responded to the allegations regarding his candidacy for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. 
 
"There is no such thing as a presidential candidacy for Istanbul," Yerlikaya said.
 

WARNING TO ISRAEL: "THE COST WILL BE HEAVY"

 
Yerlikaya gave a harsh answer to the question regarding the allegations of operations by the Israeli secret service MOSSAD against HAMAS members who are said to be in our country.
 
Yerlikaya stated that the relevant units made statements on this issue the previous day.
 
"We discussed it in our cabinet. We work in coordination with the security units of our cabinet. Our intelligence units made the necessary statement. Such an attempt would be unacceptable and would be costly," Yerlikaya warned.
