A statement regarding the death sentences given by the Egyptian administration against the Brotherhood leaders also came from Mazlumder.
Mazlumder called for an immediate halt to death sentences and condemned Egypt's coupist administration.
In the statement made by Mazlumder, "In the trials held due to the anti-coup demonstrations in Rabiat'ul Adawiya Square after the military coup in Egypt in 2013, 8 Brotherhood members, including the 80-year-old Ikhwan Guidance Council President Mohammad Bedii and Law and Justice Party General Secretary Mohammad al-Beltagy, were tried and members of Jamaat-ul Islamiyya were sentenced to death," it was stated.
IT HAS BECOME LIKE EVEN THE HOLY PERIOD
"During the time since the military coup, Egypt; It has become a situation reminiscent of the Hosni Mubarak period, when free elections were not held and opponents were punished by junta courts. While Egyptian dissidents are not granted the right to live within the country, the international community has remained deeply silent in the face of human rights violations. In fact, some countries have taken a position to support and legitimize the oppression through their warm relations with the junta that seized power, disregarding the will of the people," the statement added.
“RETURN IMMEDIATELY FROM THE DECISIONS MADE”
Mazlumder, regarding the death sentences made, "We reiterate that the decisions made in the coup courts have no legitimacy. We invite the coupist Sisi administration to immediately reverse this decision, the international community, especially Turkey, to take the initiative to prevent the executions and not to remain silent about the cruelty," the statement added.
