Within the scope of the "Library of Hearts" project carried out by the Volunteer Coordinatorship of the Directorate of Women's Family and Youth Services of Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV), libraries were established in 55 schools in 42 provinces.

İhsan Açık, the 2nd Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Religious Foundation, said that they established libraries in primary, secondary and high school schools with the income obtained from the charity bazaar event held with the support of volunteers in 21 provinces where the structuring of Women's and Youth Branches was completed.

“WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO YOUTH IN VARIOUS AREAS”

Açık stated that they are a non-governmental organization that prioritizes education in every field and that they provide educational support in various fields to the youth, who are the architects of the future, in this sense.

"Our library project is one of these supports. In coordination with our national education directorates in 21 provinces where our women's branches are located, and in 42 provinces with their sister cities, we have determined the schools that do not have a library and the books that will be placed there. We brought together 55 libraries, 15 of which are high schools, 26 secondary schools, and 14 primary schools, with our schools. With the support of our Publishing and Printing Business, we have filled our libraries with books, which we believe will contribute greatly to the education of our children," Açık said.

“EVERY INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION IS AN INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE”

Expressing that they believe that each investment made in the field of education is very valuable seeds for the future, and that they carry out studies in this context, "It gives us strength to feel the support of our volunteers in the projects we carry out. 'Library of Hearts' project has also come to a conclusion with the efforts and sacrifices of our volunteers. On this occasion, we also experience the feeling of solidarity that our ancestors left us as a requirement of our faith," he added.

“WE WILL CARRY OUT EXTENSIVE PROJECTS”

Açık emphasized that they are making an effort to actively structure the Women's and Youth Branches of the Turkish Religious Foundation in 81 provinces and that they will implement more comprehensive projects for all segments of the public after these studies are completed.
