In the decision published in the Official Gazette, it was stated in the Tripartite Declaration signed by Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on November 9, 2020, as a result of the success of Azerbaijan in the struggle to liberate the occupied lands and the new situation in the field, that the activities envisaged for the preservation of stability in the region continue. It was reminded that Turkey, which has strongly supported Azerbaijan since the beginning of the process so that it can defend all its rights, including its territorial integrity, on the basis of international law and legitimate sovereign rights, continues to make significant contributions to the preservation and strengthening of peace and stability in the region and to the construction and revival of the economic infrastructure to facilitate this. In the decision, it was stated that the Joint Center, which Turkey established with Russia and where Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) personnel work, continued its activities successfully, and it was emphasized that Turkey contributed to the security of the region and to the building of trust between the parties through the Joint Center.
In the resolution, which pointed out that the continuation of the duties of the personnel at the Joint Center is a requirement of Turkey's effective and constructive role and national interests in the region, the fulfillment of the commitments stemming from the provisions of the Strategic Partnership and Mutual Assistance Agreement between Turkey and Azerbaijan signed on August 16 2010, It was reported that the extension of the period of permission granted for the effective protection and safeguarding of Turkey's highest interests in order to observe, prevent violations, ensure peace and stability in the region, by 1 year from November 17, 2022, was accepted at the 14th meeting of the General Assembly dated November 1.
HACIARİFOĞLU ELECTED TO RTÜK MEMBERSHIP
Pursuant to Article 35 of the Law on the Establishment and Broadcasting Services of Radio and Television, the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) decision regarding the election for the vacant membership in RTÜK was also published in the Official Gazette. In the decision, as a result of the election held at the 14th meeting of the General Assembly dated November 1, for a membership falling to the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Group, Mete Hacıarifoğlu's decision was made.
