Turkey's benchmark stock index started the day with a 75.23-point rise to open at 93,113.72 points on Friday.
On the last transaction day of the week, the BIST 100 index rose by 0.08 percent.
The banking sector index went up 0.01 percent while the holding sector index declined 0.18 percent.
Among all sectors, the chemicals, petroleum and plastics sector index was the best performer with a 1.49-percent rise while the basic metal index started the day with the biggest decline, falling by 0.66 percent.
At the close on Thursday, the BIST 100 was down 824.25 points or 0.88 percent to reach 93,038.49 points, with a total trading volume of 5.2 billion Turkish liras ($1.46 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate increased to 3.5720 at 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Friday, compared with 3.5540 at Thursday’s close.
