Trade Minister Ömer Bolat shared on his social media account about the daily export record.
Bolat, in his message, "Our exports reached 2 billion 121 million dollars with a daily historical record on June 23. The threshold of 2 billion dollars in daily exports has been exceeded", he said.
Pointing out that the daily export value exceeded the annual export in 1977 (1 billion 753 million dollars) and the monthly export values in 1999 (1 billion 940 million dollars in August), Bolat said that despite the weak course in the global economy and trade, this historical daily export value and the dynamism of the exporters and reported his strength.

Bolat pointed out that the temporary Manufacturing Industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for June decreased to 43.6 in the Eurozone, while it was 41 in Germany, the largest trading partner, at the lowest level of the last 37 months.
"In the upcoming period, our priority is to ensure a healthy growth environment, on the one hand, by ensuring a sustainable increase in exports with high added value and reducing the need for imports, and on the other hand, reducing the external resource pressure that harms macroeconomic stability. In addition, with the establishment of macroeconomic stability, a suitable environment will be provided for investments, and we will continue our efforts resolutely for the strong operation of the investment-high value-added production-export chain", he added.
