Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu attended the 'Traditional Ankara Iftar' program organized by his party's Ankara Provincial Directorate.
Evaluating the brutality carried out by Israel in Gaza, Karamollaoğlu called on the leaders of Islamic countries and asked Turkey to lead this.
"We want Mr. President to cut off relations with Israel before the Eid and set an example for the whole world," Karamollaoğlu said.
“MAYOR MEANS A PERSON WHO DEDICATES HIMSELF”
Karamollaoğlu made statements on important topics in his speech in the program.
Stating that local governments are very important, Karamollaoğlu also underlined that there is only a short time left for local elections.
"A mayor is a person who has devoted himself to his region. He is the person who takes on the task of being the cure for all their troubles. However, mayors are not masters of everything who can do the best in everything. They will be useful if they work with qualified people," Karamollaoğlu added.
“ISRAEL MAY CARRY THE MASSACRE TO OTHER PLACES”
Karamollaoğlu said, "The world is facing a brutality that is far beyond what it has seen so far."
"Israel can display this brutality. But what saddens us is that the leaders of Islamic countries are just spectators to this brutality. There is a mental eclipse. Unfortunately, Israel will continue this brutality not only in Gaza but also elsewhere. If Islamic countries do not come together and prevent this, it will continue to do this," Karamollaoğlu added.
“TÜRKİYE SHOULD BE AN EXAMPLE TO THE WHOLE WORLD”
Karamollaoğlu underlined that governments should use every means to stop the brutality.
"This is our duty. This is not a blessing. We want Mr. President to cut off relations with Israel before the Eid and set an example for the whole world. We cannot say that trade and politics are separate. Trade is an integral part of politics. They increase their oppression with the support they receive from here," Karamollaoğlu said.
"THEY USE ALL THE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ELECTIONS"
Reminding that in previous periods, some relevant ministers left their positions before the elections, Karamollaoğlu said, "They do this for whatever is in their interest. Certain ministers had to resign in the past. Now they are personally involved in the work. They do it in front of everyone's eyes. They use all means. I believe that if we were in power in these local elections, we would solve 90 percent of the problems within two years, not by denying what we have said over and over again. The number one issue is to stop waste."
